Best launch video agencies for AI and tech startups (2026)
The best launch video agencies for AI and tech startups in 2026 are LaunchVideo, Flowjam, Clickstrike, What a Story and Advids for making the video, and GrowthMatrix for getting it seen. Which one fits depends on two questions: do you need the video made, and who will make sure the right people watch it on launch day?
This list is published by GrowthMatrix. We don't make videos: we put creators behind launch videos on X and LinkedIn, so we're listed for that and we say so. Every other agency is described using only what it publishes on its own website, checked on 18 October 2026.

What 188 launch videos from 2026 tell you
We measured the launch videos in 191 funding announcements posted on X in 2026, from our funding announcement benchmark. 188 of them had a video.
188 launch videos from 2026 funding announcements on X
Most ran one to two minutes, and length didn't decide reach
- One to two minutes is normal. Half the videos ran between 62 and 124 seconds. The median was 91 seconds, and the 20 most-viewed posts had almost the same median: 90 seconds.
- Length didn't decide reach. Videos under 30 seconds and videos of 2 to 3 minutes had about the same median views. Make it as long as the story needs, then cut everything that isn't the story.
- Horizontal won. 184 of the 188 were horizontal. On X, a wide video plays well in the timeline and when people tap to watch full screen.
These posts come from a public directory of planned startup launches, so read them as what good launches did, not a typical post.
Production studio or launch agency?
- Pick a production studio (Flowjam, What a Story, Advids) when you need the video made well and already have a plan, or a partner, for launch day.
- Pick a launch studio (LaunchVideo, Clickstrike) when you want one team to make the video and push it.
- Add a distribution partner (GrowthMatrix) when the video exists, or is being made, and the risk is that nobody outside your followers sees it. A great video posted to a small account usually stops at that account's followers.
Not sure you need a video at all? A screen recording of the product doing one real task counts as a launch video. See how we use real-task demos for AI agent launches and developer tool launches.
What to send a launch video agency
A good brief gets you a faster quote and a better video. Copy this and fill in the brackets.
Product: [NAME] - [WHAT IT DOES, IN ONE SENTENCE]
Who it's for: [THE BUYER OR USER]
Launch date: [DATE] on [X / LINKEDIN / PRODUCT HUNT]
The one thing people must remember: [ONE LINE]
What the video should show: [THE PRODUCT DOING ONE REAL TASK / THE FOUNDER'S STORY / A CUSTOMER RESULT]
Length and format: [60 TO 120 SECONDS], horizontal, captions on screen
Who will post it: [FOUNDER ACCOUNT / COMPANY ACCOUNT]
Budget range: [RANGE]
Distribution plan: [WHO WILL SHARE IT IN THE FIRST HOURS]How to get the launch video seen
- Post it from the founder's account. In our funding benchmark, founder posts travelled about three times further relative to their following than company posts.
- Put the video in the post itself, not behind a link, with captions on screen.
- Line up people to quote it in the first hours: investors, your team and creators your buyers follow. Quote posts carry it to new audiences. More in quote posts vs reposts vs threads.
- Give people something to do after they watch: a free trial, a waitlist that opens today, or a demo link.
