Launch your AI agent on X

An AI agent is hard to explain in one post and easy to understand in a short clip of it doing a real task. That's the whole idea behind how we launch agents on X: put the agent in front of builders and early adopters, through creators they already follow, showing it work.

We've launched Runner H for H Company, Simular's Mac agent and JovidaAI's life agent this way.

Why agent launches are different

People need to see it work. An agent acts for you, so "it can do anything" is the claim people trust least. One clip of it finishing a real task does more than any feature list.

Trust is the question. Who's in control? What happens when it gets something wrong? Simular's launch answered that up front: the agent works alongside you on your Mac, and you can take over at any time.

Builders save it to try later. On Simular's launch post, bookmarks (835) were higher than likes (624). For an agent, a save usually means someone plans to install it and test it on their own work.

Access decides the launch. If people can't try it today, the launch turns into a promise. A public beta or open access on launch day gives every viewer something to do.

Show it doing a real task

  1. 1Make it easy to tryPublic beta or invite links that work on launch day.
  2. 2Film one real taskFrom the prompt to the result, result first.
  3. 3Pick buildersCreators whose followers try new tools.
  4. 4Brief with tasksThree tasks to try, their own words.
  5. 5Land it in hoursClips and quote posts right after launch.
Then measure:BookmarksQuote postsSign-ups by link

1. Make it easy to try. Open a public beta or send invite links that work on launch day. H Company launched Runner H's public beta this way, and the post cleared 867K views on launch day.

2. Record one real task, start to finish. Not a montage. One task, from the prompt to the finished result, with captions. Open on the result, then show how the agent got there.

3. Pick creators who will actually use it. Builders, developers and power users whose followers try new tools. Check who replies to a creator's posts before you add them. More on that in how to pick tech influencers.

4. Brief them with tasks, not a script. Send three tasks worth trying and let each creator film their own run in their own words. Their real results are the proof.

5. Land everything in the first hours. Demo clips and quote posts go live right after the launch post, so the launch wave builds while the post is still new.

6. Measure saves and sign-ups, not likes. Bookmarks, quote posts and sign-ups from tracked links tell you whether people plan to use the agent.

What we run for agent launches

  • Hands-on demo clips from creators running the agent on their own tasks.
  • Quote posts with each creator's take, so the launch reaches their audience with a reason to look. H Company's CES post earned 1,583 quotes, more than its likes.
  • Launch-day quote waves for new accounts. JovidaAI launched its AI life agent from an account with 73 followers and reached 105.6K views in one day.
  • Event moments like CES, when the whole industry is already paying attention.
  • LinkedIn founder pushes for agents sold to businesses.

You approve every post, creators write in their own words, and paid posts carry X's paid partnership label. Every campaign on X has an agreed impressions floor. If the wave falls short, we add creators at no extra cost until it clears.

Mistakes that sink agent launches

  • A perfect demo that fails live. If creators can't repeat it, people notice in the replies. Pick tasks that work every time.
  • A waitlist on launch day. People want to try it now.
  • Big autonomy claims. "Does everything for you" invites the hardest questions. Show one task done well instead.
  • No answer on control. Say who approves actions and how people take over.
  • Measuring likes. Saves and sign-ups tell you who plans to use it.

Frequently asked questions

  • How do you market an AI agent on X?

Show it doing one real task, start to finish, then put that demo in front of builders and early adopters through creators they already follow. Open access on launch day, and land the creator posts in the first hours.

  • What kind of creators work best for AI agent launches?

Builders, developers and power users whose followers try new tools. Check who replies to their posts, not just how many followers they have.

  • Should an AI agent launch have a waitlist?

Avoid it if you can. A public beta or invite links that work on launch day give every viewer something to do right away.

  • How long should an AI agent demo be?

Short. 30 to 60 seconds for the launch post, showing one real task with the result first and captions on screen.

  • What results have your agent launches had?

H Company's Runner H public beta post cleared 867K views on launch day. Simular's Mac agent launch post reached 544K views and 835 bookmarks. JovidaAI's launch from a 73-follower account reached 105.6K views.

  • Do you launch AI agents for businesses?

Yes. For agents sold to teams, we add LinkedIn founder pushes alongside the launch on X, so the people who sign off on budgets see it too.
