The short version

  • We collect the information you send us, what creators share to work with us, public social media information, basic website analytics, and work contact details of people we may contact about our services.
  • We use it to reply to you, run social media campaigns, pay creators, report results, improve our website and introduce our services to businesses that may need them.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Briefs and enquiries: your name, work email, company or product, launch timing and anything else you include. The brief form on our homepage does not send data to our servers. It prepares an email (or text you can copy) that you send to us yourself, so we only receive what you choose to send.
  • Calls and meetings: the details you enter when you book a call through our scheduling tool (TidyCal), such as your name, email address and chosen time.
  • Messages: what you send us by email or by direct message on X or LinkedIn.
  • Client campaign information: your team's contact details, product information, launch dates, campaign goals, content approvals and feedback.

Information from creators

  • Your name, social media handles and profile links, the platforms you post on, and your contact details.
  • Audience and performance information you share with us, such as follower counts, views, engagement and audience location.
  • Rates, payment details and, where needed, tax or invoicing information. Payments are processed by payment providers, and we do not store full card numbers.
  • The content you create for campaigns, and how it performs.

Public social media information As an influencer marketing agency, we review public information on X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. This includes public profiles, public posts and their public metrics (such as views, likes and reposts). We use it to find creators who fit a campaign, to plan launches and to measure and report campaign results. We only use information that is public or that you share with us, and we follow each platform's rules, including its rules for labelling paid partnerships.

Information collected automatically on our website

  • Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time on page, the site that referred you, device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Google Analytics uses cookies, described in "Cookies and analytics" below.
  • Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and request time) to run and secure the website.

Business contact information from other sources To find companies that may need our services, we collect work contact details of people at those companies: name, job title, company, work email address and public professional profile links (such as LinkedIn). We get these from public sources (such as company websites and public profiles) and from business contact data and email verification providers.

We publish campaign results, such as the public view counts of launch posts, in our case studies. We name clients and quote their team members only with their agreement or where the information is already public.

Creators in our network

If you are a creator who works with GrowthMatrix:

  • We use your public profile and the audience information you share to match you with campaigns that suit your audience.
  • We share your handle, audience details and proposed content with the client for that campaign, so they can review and approve it. We never share your rates or payment details with other creators.
  • We may feature your campaign post and its public results in our case studies, because these posts are already public.
  • You can ask to leave our network, and have your information deleted, at any time.

When we work on behalf of clients

Sometimes a client asks us to handle personal information for them as part of a campaign, for example a list of people to contact. In that case, we act as the client's service provider (a "processor"), use the information only on the client's instructions and for that campaign, and the client's own privacy policy applies to it.

Business emails we send

We send a limited number of business emails to people at companies that may benefit from our influencer marketing services. Every email says who we are and how to stop receiving them.

  • To opt out, reply "unsubscribe" or email partnership@growthmatrix.marketing. We will stop contacting you and keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so it stays that way.
  • We use only work contact details for this, and only for business-to-business outreach.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies only for analytics, through Google Analytics. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags or advertising cookies, and we do not record your screen or mouse movements.

How we use AI tools

We use AI-assisted tools to help draft briefs, emails and campaign reports. We do not use your personal information to train AI models, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only when it is needed, and we never sell it.

  • Service providers who support our work: website hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google Analytics), scheduling (TidyCal), email and productivity tools, email sending and verification tools, business contact data providers and payment providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Clients and creators, as needed to run a campaign. For example, a client sees the creators proposed for their launch, and a creator receives the brief for a campaign they join.
  • Social media platforms, when campaign content is published on them. Content posted on X, LinkedIn, Instagram or TikTok is also governed by that platform's privacy policy.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, our creators or the public.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or restructured. They must continue to protect your information in line with this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

International transfers

GrowthMatrix is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the US and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.

How long we keep information

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Client and creator records: for as long as we work together, then up to 3 years, or longer where tax or accounting law requires it.
  • Business contact details used for outreach: until you opt out or we stop contacting your company. If you opt out, we keep only your email address on our do-not-contact list.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect information

We use access controls, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reputable service providers, and we limit access to people who need it for their work. No system is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay, as the law requires.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your information.
  • Object to, or restrict, how we use it, including for business emails.
  • Transfer your information to another service (portability).
  • Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.

California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to delete and correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Residents of other US states: if you live in a state with its own privacy law (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas or Oregon), you have similar rights to access, correct, delete and opt out, and you can appeal our decision by replying to it.

EEA and UK residents: you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information.

How to make a request: email partnership@growthmatrix.marketing with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity, and you may use an authorised agent. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond in full within 30 days (45 days for California requests). There is no charge.

Children

Our services are designed for businesses and adult creators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If we make a significant change, we will highlight it on this page.
